I don't often write, much less submit for publication, CNF (Creative Non-Fiction)...

...but I went ahead with this one. Note: I don't regret my military service, not at all. Though I wish it hadn't taken me nearly two decades to seek medical attention--as I've probably done far too often in my life, I ignored my own physical problems until they actually impacted my ability to earn a paycheck.
