I've never really been drawn to the dark side...

...but for a writing competition a few years ago, we were instructed to write a story from a villain's perspective, so I had to give over my usual hero protagonist in favor of something grimmer. I ended up really enjoying it, so much I actually wrote another story (for Metaphorosis!) with a heroine who at best occupied a morally gray area. But here's the first one--"Monster Face," published in Penumbric in August of last year!
