It's Not a Cry for Help, It's Literary!

...I titled this blog post that because a friend of mine, after reading this story, asked me seriously if I was okay and if I still loved my husband, lol. The answer is affirmative to both! As I told her, this is just as much fiction as any of my dragon, spaceship or cannibal stories. Admittedly yes, it is informed by decades of lived experience as a woman--but it is fictional, I promise.
