I don't write too many children's stories, but this is one of the few--a little dark, a little scary, but a happy ending, and my eleven-year-old daughter thinks it's great! (You can't beat that sort of endorsement, really). Here it is--The Dire Dark anthology published by the awesome Shacklebound Books and including my short story "Roses and Vipers."
