New Story Out for April 2024!

I wrote this story for a science fantasy open call--it was shortlisted by that pub, but they ultimately decided against taking it, and I had a heck of time placing it after that--several personal rejections and a couple of holds but no acceptances...til now! Really grateful to the Brothers Uber for taking this piece on--not only is it something of a love letter to one of my favorite classic heroic fantasy authors of all time, Robert E. Howard, but also, I'm sharing the TOC with Ray Daley, who was an awesome dude of the SFF community who recently and very unexpectedly passed away (waah!). It's an honor, on multiple levels.
