I really enjoyed writing this one--I was seized with the notion of writing a story where it both (a) genuinely was impossible to know for sure just what had happened, while (b) not annoying the crap out of the reader while doing so. I'm not entirely sure I stuck both those landings, but I had a lot of fun trying! ("Zarmina")
